WHO – World Health Organization has declared 2020 as the year of the Nurses and Midwifes. Nurses and midwifes are the back born of health care settings. They devote their life for caring new born babies to the elderly people providing day to day health cares to the medications. However, WHO says, the world needs 9 million more nurses and midwives to achieve universal health coverage by 2030. That’s why the World Health Assembly has designated 2020 the International Year of the Nurse and the Midwife.
As part of this WHO is organizing various programs across the globe. WHO has also announced organizations, activist to conduct various program in support for this. Organizations or supporters can conduct classes, recreation activities, meetings etc. for the nurses and midwifes.
